The entrance to the hotel is really the entrance to the wholesale shopping centre on the bottom 5-6 floors of the hotel. Once you are on the actual hotel lobby, you'll see a real, and normal hotel ambiance with the exception that this has unusually a lot of people. This is expected as non-hotel guests also come down to the restaurants and golf driving range which are on the same floor. Of course, the public is also on this floor to go up to the sky viewing floor... crowded and can be a potential security issues too.

We stayed in one of the junior suite (which is a large deluxe room), fairly decorated; simple furnitures and quite old; but clean. Of course, the staff are friendly and the food is ok -- we actually had better foods outside the hotels.

So, if you’re looking for a place magnificent lobby and interiors that dazzle you; or decoration that fit for an Asian king, then this is not the place. If you want to have the skyview of Bangkok, large room and good wholesale shopping location, this is a great place.
